Today we....

School today started out by coloring some picutures to make a tree for the mural in the school room. While doing that we watched Fern Gulley and talked about the colors and the animals we saw. Then during our hours of hanging out at the hospital for dr appts and testing we "schooled by reading books on the rainforest. Coming home we had a meal of plain yogurt with blue food dye and then cut marshmellows as clouds. Bananas served as the base for our trees made with with something in the allergy isle called sticks and twigs. I added sunbutter to the top so that I could have some lettus leaves serves as tree leaves and papaya and strawberry flowers. We then after dinner made rainforest cookies following the reciepe in one of the books that we read! Hmmm tomorrow goal is to make sure she doent think the rainforest is all about food!
