We read thru the a few Rainforest books before momma needed to fall asleep. Then for Lily and dad it was off to Mad Science where they learned about animals and made masks. Then the real adventure started. Dad stopped at the pharmacy and on their way back out he found out his tire was slashed (not sure if he hit something or if it was malicious) After a friend stopped on his way into work to help get the spare on we found out the spare was flat (guess what is getting added to the list of checking once a month). We called another friend who was able finish the rescue. Tomorrow we are getting two new tires as he said we had another one that is pretty bad.
Coming home no one really was ready to teach so Lily worked on Starfall and read a few books and read her library book to me and then has played a few math games with daddy.
I just wish we taught her patience or learned that from her prespective that today was a fun adventure where we got to see our friends and a drink a special drink (green tea) and watch all the people come and go and listen to Latin on the CD player. We got to dance in the car and see what it was like to sit in the front seat and tell mom the most imaginative stories. Hmmm maybe today's adventure wasnt so bad
