Changes

I have not done such a good job keeping up with this. We got all of the stuff in the school room and need to do some more on the organization of it. We have only done a small amount of any schooling. She knows knows her full name, phone number, home address and parents full names. We only have done small work with her numbers and letter and painting. We have added some outside classes she now goes to a homeschool dance class and a music on Monday mornings and it is 30mins away from home so that seems to take the morning away from us. Tuesdays were gymnastics however that program got canceled. I will be looking for another program for her shortly as she seems to really enjoy that. Wednesday night is Kick club where her and I take a soccer class. It takes her and hour past bed time and boy does that make it for one long 10min drive home! Saturday she has a studio dance class that teaches tap and ballet and dabbles in some gymnastics. I am throwing in there going back to work 36hrs a week. This is going to be a very interesting winter. Her birthday is next week and we are doing a small family thing for the birthday night and in two weeks doing a huge play date for all of her friends to celebrate her birthday and halloween since she does not get to go out for halloween due to her food allergies and GI issues.
I am working this weekend on getting all of the lesson plans written out and out of my head so the persons that are going to watch her can continue to educate her while I do what I have to do.

In process

By the grace of God I hope to be able to homeschool my daughter who for this internet world will be known as Lily Rose. She is about to turn three has been begging to go to school and is learning faster than I can teacher. Signing Time taught her to not only communicate with me at an early age but at the age for 14mos she could say and recognize her ABC. Thanks to Leapfrog she has sounded out her first words already. I am in the process of getting her school room ready as we are very lucky to have a spare room that we can dedicate just to her and her schooling. A place for her all books.
I hope by starting this blog that I can make sure that I have found a way to hold myself accountable to making sure that I follow thru with all of the many many plans that I have. I also hope to give the future homeschoolers an insight of what we do in a day during our play and inspire like I have gain inspiration from this blog world.
